Esostom:

Composition:

Each Capsule contains as gastro-resistant pellets:

Esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate equivalent to 20 mg Esomeprazole Or

Esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate equivalent to 40 mg Esomeprazole

In the form of enteric coated pellets.

Indications:

A) Treatment of Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) which contains:

-Healing of Erosive Esophagitis.

-Maintenance of Healing of Erosive Esophagitis.

-Symptomatic healing of Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease (such as heartburn and

other symptoms).

B) H.Pylori eradication to reduce the risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence "Triple Therapy" in combination with Amoxicillin and Clarithromycin

Dosage and administration:

The recommended adult dosages are outlined in the table below:

Esostom capsules should be swallowed whole and taken at least one hour before eating.

		2-H.Pylori eradication to reduce the risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence
Once daily for 10 days	40 mg	Esomeprazole
Twice daily for 10 days	1000 mg	Amoxicillin
Twice daily for 10 days	500 mg	Clarithromycin

Package:

Esostom capsules are supplied as follows:

20 Capsules for both strengths.
